Me and my digital camera are best friends.

This has been evident to almost everyone who has ever met me, since they get blinded by the flash randomly while being in my company. I used to have a Canon Powershot A95 (5.0-megapixel digital camera with 3x optical/4.1x digital/12x combined zoom. 14 shooting modes, with 1.8-inch vari-angle LCD monitor) but it was stolden from Country Kitchen in Rhinelander on a chilly August day - you will see a couple pictures taken with it before that dreadful day. I now carry the Canon Powershot S500 (5.0-megapixel digital camera with 3x optical/4x digital/12x combined zoom. 9-point autofocus & movie mode) I have found pleasure with this new camera because it pays special attention to details. I capture vibrant pictures and find myself loving this one more than the lost one. It's a step closer to the Canon Rebel I have my eyes set on.

I like to capture beauty in everyday things. Beauty in the simplest things. Beauty within ones self. It also helps me remember to take delight in everything and is a complete stress reliever (except when that blasted battery dies during the worst moments. note to self, buy a back-up battery)

This is why I am here. Just to spread the things I find beautiful. I'm not amazing, I'm just some amateur out there trying to pass the time.
